How To Treat Sore And Painful Rash Between Buttocks?
Sore rash between buttocks. First, went to the dr to have STD testing done, I had a cold sore on my lip and was afraid I had been exposed to genital herpes. I also, for work, walk in the heat all day and sweat quite a bit. I ve had this really really red rash that goes all the way from my bikini line to in between my buttcheeks. No blisters that I can see and I ve been to the dr before the rash came up and they didn t see any either. The rash is pretty painful and I ve been using diaper rash cream and it s not seeming to help. :-/
I have read your whole query and understand the concern.
As per your description, it is most likely a boil or cellulitis etc but it must be inspected by naked eye by the expert to arrive at a certain diagnosis.
Without examination, doctor will not be able to comment exactly.
You should take antibiotics (from which cephalosporins preferred) with analgesics, antihistamines and anti-inflammatory to get rid off that.
The painful rashes might burst out leading to pus drainage or blood drainage. You wash them with savlon and water.
Only 3 days course of antibiotics Would be sufficient if the diagnosis is correct.
Consult surgeon for complete clinical examination and appropriate treatment.
