How To Treat Soreness And Pain In Arms Caused After Injury?

Hi I am a 61 year old female who recently fell down in my bathroom. (1 week ago on Saturday.) I fell on my right arm. The upper part of my arm is still very sore and it hurts when I try to raise it over my head. Do you think it is necessary for me to do a doctor visit?

Hi,

If you are able to move around the arm easily and there is no apparent deformity in the shape, size and contour of the arm, there is not much reason to worry. I would advise you to take pain killers like paracetamol. If the condition doesn't improve then I would advise you to get an x ray done for the arm.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
