How To Treat Soreness And Swelling Of Foot Due To Rope Burn?

Him I got a rope burn from an outdoor rope, so I don t know how clean the rope was, I m guessing not very, but it got hot and swollen, so I went to the doctor. Put me on keflex for ten days. The sore itself is on the top of my foot, about 1-1.5 across. It s got a weird greenish center and the outside is still bright pink. Is this normal?

Hi,

You need to take some good antibiotic both topical and systemic in order to prevent secondary infection and thus faster healing. Rest is of utmost importance in your case because repeated trauma in Delhi healing and leads to many complications like scaring, and secondary infection.

You can also use silverex cream over the affected area. And at last but not least, if there is any wound then proper dressing is also required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
