How To Treat Sores Inside Cheek After Having Unsafe Oral Sex?
2 weeks ago I received unprotected oral sex from an escort. Now for the past week my lips have been burning (no sores yet) and I woke up this morning with sores on the inside of both cheeks.I have tried lip balms and vasoline on my lips to no avail. The inside of my cheeks are sore and the skin is peeling as well. I also am getting a bit of pain in my prostate off and on throughout the day. I am worried sick. Any recommendations?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain if you have a history of unprotected Oral sex and with the presentation of symptoms it is more likely that you have a Viral Infection caused by HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS 1 causing Cold Sores..
You should consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and if Herpes is suspected he can advise you to get a few investigations like Viral Culture, Polymerase chain reaction, antigen-antibody reaction reaction etc done to confirm the diagnosis..
Although it is self limiting infection but antiviral Oral and topical therapy can be advised to reduce recurrence frequency..
Hope this information helps.
