I believe I have a spider bite on my left shoulder. It began with a blister like bump that was itchy and now is about a quarter of an inch around, has a couple of small holes that pus will come out of when I squeeze it, and the skin around the holes is raised, a bit hard and tender. It has been about two weeks and is still a problem. What can I do?
The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is papular urticaria. Try to use mosquito nets as much as possible. Wear full clothes.Topical steroid cream like mometasone can be applied over the affected area. Oral antihistamines like fexofenadine may also be used if the rash is itchy.Consult a dermatologist and discuss the treatment options mentioned above, Regards
