OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

In the current scenario, I would suggest a proper clinical evaluation and planning further management. Obviously, she would need a colposcopy to assess the situation apart from other investigations to determine whether any associated factors are present. The consultant will decide based upon the extent of the lesion and the clinical condition, what type of treatment is required.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,

General & Family Physician Dr. Vasudha's  Response
Hi,

Biopsy should be next step of evaluation. Please be in touch with your gynecologist. A biopsy would differentiate between chronic vaginitis / cervicitis showing the atypical cells and give confirmed results.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
