Hi..Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Most bladder &
ureter stones get passed in urine through
urethra. Surgery is required in very few cases.
There are various factors who influence the passage of stone through urethra like stone size, age of patient,
prostate size, etc. Smaller stones have high chances of passage, A stone less than 4mm has over 80% chances of passage whereas a stone greater than 5mm has only 20%.
There is no medicine to dissolve stones. You should drink ample amount of water & diuretics would be given to enhance passage of urine.
If stone size is larger,
Lithotripsy would be done. It is non surgical procedure in which ultrasonic
shock waves are given which break stones in smaller ones. So that they can be removed easily.
Hope this information helps
good luck
