hi.

noted history of hand injury. what's happening may be an inflammatory reaction/bruising/swelling secondary to the injury. it will persist for about a week but the inflammation will subside spontaneously in about 3-4 days time. analgesics and cold compress may temporarily relief your pain and decrease the swelling. if pain persists, a consult with a doctor is best. diagnostics and management will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
