General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms of your granddaughter seem to be related to the injury. I suggest to give her Tylenol for the swelling. I also suggest to use cold compresses for local application. If the swelling continues, you should do an x-ray to exclude a fracture.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
