Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain there is a possibility that due to injury there is inflammation of the soft tissues and also due to injury to small blood vessels there is spillage of blood into the soft tissues causing bruising and
hematoma formation and release of inflammatory exudate and inflammatory cells, all of these leads to swelling..
You should also get an x ray of the fingers done to get checked for bony fractures..
In case if there is only
soft tissue injury and no fracture you can apply a
steroid gel over the swollen fingers..
apply a Heparin containing gel for faster disintegration of the hematoma and bruising..
You can do alternate warm and cool compresses over the swelling for faster healing and relief from swelling..
If there is pain you can take
diclofenac or
naproxen..
In case of bony fracture reduction of the bony segments and immobilization of the finger will be done..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
