How To Treat Swelling In Sole Of Foot?

I have swelling in left foot sole from two months after I had three falls One day when I tried to get on the bus I got a very bad sprain in my left heel and after that this swelling in foot sole started. I feel sometime very hard and numb and very uncomfortable to walk but my GP does not give any advice for this problem. Please guide me for this problem I can t wear my shoes

I really appreciate your concern.
Discussion:- If this is the history of fall then it could be soft tissue injury and may be hair line fracture and this need to be ruled out
Medication:- Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day.
Advise:- X-ray is advisable
Comments:- Orthopedic opinion is must.
