How To Treat Swelling On Left Side Of Neck?

Pain and swelling on the left side of my neck, I can feel small nodes behind my ear/along my jaw line, my ear feels clogged and it feels like my throat is swollen when I swallow ( only on the left side) I saw my dr a year ago and he said it was a lymph node buy couldn t seem to find what I was talking about. The external jugular on the left side seems fuller or more firm than the right... my father had a thyroid deficiency I don t know if that could be related... what could it be?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood that you have left sided neck lymph nodes.
Thwould have been diagnosed till now.
This is simple:
- CT scan of hte neck
- Guided FNAC
- If required lymph node biopsy and
- Supportive tests of the blood and urine.
All these together would have given you hte diagnosis a long ago, get these done if not yet done.
I find this answer helpful
