Understanding your concern. As per your query you have swollen and blue colored ankle . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like fracture like green stick fracture , soft tissue injury like ligament tear and hematoma . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order x-ray , CT scan and check movements . Doctor may give plaster , immobilize the joint , darin the hematoma , prescribe muscle relaxant , anti inflammatory and physicaal therapy . For now give proper rest to joint and apply warm compresses if 48 hours had already passed after injury .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
