How To Treat Swollen Eyes Despite Taking Triroid?

Hello Doctor.I have had tablet 'combiflam'. After 1 hour of taking this tablet, my eyes swell fully. This is the first time, I had such a reaction. I have consulted a Doctor in person and I have received 2 injections "TRIROID 40 mg" and "ETERNA". Even after 2 days, still, there is 30% of the swelling on eyes and adjoining nose area.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, i do care for your concern.
your symptoms suggest of drug allergy.
You have received the steroid and anti-emetic injections.
These drugs are very useful in treating drug induced hypersensitivity reactions.
I would advise
To stop the drug and consult your physician to change to other group of pain killers.
It is rare to have such reactions with NSAID'S i would advise to check with any other medicines that you received, that may caused this reaction.
The swelling will reduce by time as it takes about 4 or 5 days to subside completely.
so need not panic.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
I find this answer helpful
