How To Treat Swollen Gland Causing Burning Sensation In Throat?
I have had a swollen gland which is painless in the left side of my throat for about four months now. Around this area I sometimes get a burning pain and slight swelling. It is now making my left side of my throat sore from the inside. I also have a sharp pain (like head ache symptoms) behind my lower left ear. It is driving me crazy and a little concerned.
Having a swollen gland on left side of your throat for 4 months now, associated with burning pain on that side and behind lower left ear are suggestive of - chronic tonsillitis - left ear infection
I highly advise to consult with ENT specialist for final determination and treatment.
Pain killers and gargle with warm water and salt are advised until you see the ENT specialist.
All the best!
