How To Treat Swollen Lymph Node In And Under Neck?

I have a swollen lymph node in the left side of my neck, under and a little behind my neck..its about the size of large goose egg..its been like this for two days..i also have really bad nummular eczema on my arms and back of my knees..not sick just sinus trouble..also my throat feels tight with the swelling of the lymph node..I don t want to go to the hospital if its just from the sinus...but I am 38 and never had this happen before in my life

Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to a local infection or an abscess in this region. For this reason, I recommend going to the ER for a physical exam and performing a neck ultrasound in order to examine the soft tissues, coupled with some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR). You may need to take oral antibiotics.
