How To Treat Swollen Lymph Nodes Behind The Ear?

I just found a small pea size bump in front of the tragus of my right ear. It doesn t hurt, but if I press on it then it is a little sore. I have been fighting a cold for the past couple of weeks. I have no other symptoms, just didn t know if it was something I should be concerned about or not. It is unclear but others that seem to have this same issues are being told anything from a swollen lymph node to cancer. Also, does a swollen lymph node require antibiotics or can it be healed on its own?

Hi,

It is probably a lymph node infection as you said, if it hurts or if there is fever, you can take antibiotic as you said. If not, leave it and it will go away by itself.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
