How To Treat T10 Vertebrae Pain After A Surgery In An Elderly Man?
My father has survived Potts disease twice, he has had two major back surgery s and now the 10th vertebrae is detreating. Our biggest fear is the disease will back and at 80 he cannot fight that again. Is there anything he can take to help that vertebra heal?
Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. You can opt for drugs like gabapentin for pain relief. In severe cases, steroid injection to the spine can be tried.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
