How To Treat The Blistered White Spots On The Neck After The Skin Got In Contact With The Hair Bleach?
I just bleached the lower part of my hair, and some of the bleach ran down my neck, and started to itch and burn, but I ignored it for about 20 minutes, then went to the bathroom and now have white spots on my neck that are sort of blistered....am I okay? What do I need to do to treat this?
-I would keep a possibility of Irritant contact dermatitis. -If i were your treating doctor i would have asked you to apply a topical steroid+antibiotic combination cream twice daily for 7-10 days. -If any dyspigmentation remains after the blister/dermatitis is healed that can be managed at a later date. The present concern is to treat the irritant dermatitis as soon as possible so as to avoid the post-inflammatory pigmentary changes.
Hi, Thanks for writing to us. You seem to be have developed irritant dermatitis with your bleaching cream. To treat the same, just apply a steroid cream like mometasone twice in a day. If the area is itching, take tablet cetirizine for few days. Hopefully in few days, the area should heal properly. Take care
