How To Treat The Feeling Of Having Lump In Chest, Throat And Stomach?

I have a feeling like a lump in my chest like it s going down my throat and the lump feeling now has moved closer to my throat than my stomach. is there anything I can do to relieve this feeling? I have 2 appts coming up with my gastroenterologist and my ear, nose and throat dr. in the meantime I feel tired and naueaus all the time. I eat, I vomit, I drink I vomit. HELP!

hello,
i can understand your concern.
i would like to know your age.. age which is on the higher side plays an important factor in these kind of cases.
is there difficulty in swallowing the food or presence of any painful swallowing???
the possible causes include both ent as well as gastro intestinal ones.
the following tests are advised to ocme to a diagnosis
1.barium swallow
2.chest xray
3.eosophagoscopy and laryngoscopy.
4.motility study of the esophagus if all the other tests are normal.
the treatment depends on treating the casuse.
it would be difficult to give tretament unless physical examination and the diagnostic tests are done.

for the time being before you meet your consultants, follow these medications
1. tab pan 40 mg twice daily to be taken half hour before breakfast and dinner for ten days
2. tab domstal 10mg(domperidone) three times a day for five days.
