How To Treat The Horseshoe Shaped Red Mark Upper Lip?

Have had a horseshoe shaped red mark on left side of upper lip, about 4 months. Does not disappear with face cream, peroxide applications. Am concerned, have had breast cancer in past, 2000. What should I treat it with? Go to a dermatologist? Thank you.
