How To Treat The Pain In Tendonitis?

I m a runner training for a half marathon on Nov 5th. On my long runs I m up to 9 miles, with 6 wks to go. Last Saturday I ran a 5k and after that race I felt discomfort in right leg and then ran 8 miles on Sunday after that run walking becamde difficult. Follow the tibia up the front of your leg before you get to knee got to the left (inside) that is where the pain is. I was told 3 or 4 muscles/tendons join there and it could tendonitis. My question, I need to get back to running as quickly as possible. Walking is difficult. I ve been taking motrin and icing. Is there anything else can do? A brace? I m traveling out of state for this race so I have a lot of money invested and don t want to miss the run.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
