How To Treat The Pain Near Naval Point For A Person Diagnosed With Amebiasis?
hi doctor i have been diagonised amebiasis and i have have flaygl 400 mg 3 times a day!! Still it is not control much i have been facing it for 1 month and in regular check up with doctor. now bloody and mucus in stool is reduced frequency seems to be reduced sometime but sometime it is more. Pain near naval point is felt most of the time and also abdominal pain is there. Due to prolonged use of flagly or tinadazole.. i am getting nauesa. how long it will take to cure? what else can be done to reduce stomach pain
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of suffering from Amoebiasis for one month, for which you have been taking Flagyl and had taken Tinidazole and have regular check up with Doctor. There is reduction in blood and mucus in stool, there is pain in the naval area, there is nausea, wants to know how much time will take to cure.
This can take time once it goes into chronic stage, there may be pot belly ulcers in the large intestine. I would advise you the following: Get the stool tested regularly. You need a colonoscopy and biopsy. And also need to take the curative dosages of another medicines that kill the ova and cyst. Check for the route of oral entry of amoeba either food, beverages or outside foods.
