How To Treat The Tennis Ball Size Lump On My Daughter S Posterior?

My 17 yo daughter fell down the stairs this morning. She has come home from school and has a lump the size of a tennis ball on her (right) posterior. She is also saying that the opposite leg hurts (left). She has not put ice on it all day. Is it too late for ice? We do not have insurance at this time, but I will take her if needed. Thanks!

It could be a hematoma. Consult an orthopedics and plan for an MRI scan.You can apply ice packs for faster recovery.
