HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The difficulty swallowing would be related to trauma to the pharynx or esophagus.

Difficulty breathing would be caused by trauma to the trachea/windpipe.

If the problems swallowing are not severe then the use of anti inflammatory pain killers may be enough to help reduce any inflammation present and cause the pain to resolve.

This includes medications such as ibuprofen, celebrex, naproxen, diclofenac.

Small cold compress directly to the area for a short period of time may also help.

I hope this helps
