Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
What problem you are facing could be 'Vaginismus'.
For some women, the vaginal muscles involuntarily or persistently contract when they attempt vaginal penetration. Later, the contractions can prevent sexual intercourse, or make it very painful. It can interfere with your relationships and your quality of life.
This can happen when the partner attempts penetration or when a woman tries to insert a tampon or when a woman is touched near the vaginal area.
The condition can be linked to past sexual abuse or trauma, past painful intercourse and emotional factors. Also, in some cases, no direct cause can be found. There is physical abnormalities associated with this condition.
You don't have to worry as vaginismus is a treatable disorder. Treatment usually includes sex education, counseling and exercises.
Working with a counselor who specializes in sexual disorders may be helpful.
Relaxation techniques and
hypnosis may also promote relaxation and help you feel more comfortable. Few may recommend learning to use vaginal dilators as part of exercise under the supervision of a professional.
Practicing Kegel exercises by repeatedly tightening and relaxing your
pelvic floor muscles, which control your vagina,
rectum, and bladder really helps to overcome such condition.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
