How To Treat Tingling Sensation On Left Side Of Neck Caused Due To Pinched Nerves?

I think I have pinched a nerve in my neck in the back on the left side. Now I am experiencing some tingling where I think it might be. It runs up my neck into the hairline. It doesn't occur all the time mostly at night but seems to be increasing.

Hi dear ,

As per your query you have tingling sensation in neck due compressed nerve . A compressed nerve is a nerve under pressure of surrounding tissue . . A nerve under enough pressure will lose its ability to carry accurate signals, and its wayward signals can cause a variety of sensations like tingling sensation as in your case . I would suggest you to to take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for 3-4 days for inflammation and pain , apply heat or ice pack , low impact exercise and stretching , massage and physical therapy . I condition doesn't get better in a week then consult orthopedic surgeon . Doctor may recommend surgery or other treatment like local injections .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
