As per your complain ulcers at the edges of tongue can be Apthous Ulcers or Canker Sores and is characterized by formation of small blisters on different mucous membranes of the mouth like tongue, inner lips, gums, inner cheeks etc..
It can occur due to a number of reasons like
Nutritional deficiency, excessive intake sour foods,immuno compromised conditions like
diabetes and HIV,Stress,Traumatic injury,excessive hot food etc and at times it can also occur due to unknown reasons..
You need not to worry and you can keep using the Cepacol mouth wash as it is antimicrobial in nature..
Do salt water gargles..
In case of pain you can take anti-inflammatory painkiller like
Ibuprofen and can can apply numbing gels like oragel for relief..
Suck on ice pops can help..
Gargle with 1:1 solution of
milk of magnesia and
benadryl can help..
Avoid spicy and hard food..
Drink plenty of water to maintain hydration..
