General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the unstable patella after fixation surgery may be of concern with various possibilities as:
- Loosening of titanium retainers
- Lack of tissue support needed due to congenital issues of tissue strength
- Ligament laxity
- Repeated trauma or over extension maneuvers

However, if you can provide me latest images of the patella and surrounding structures through CT images, I can guide further precisely in this regard.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
