How To Treat Urostomy ?
I have a urostomy but they did not remove my bladder. Said it was too dangerous at time of surgery. I still get bladder infections and the treatments are painfull.,For five days they catheterization me and put the antibiotic through the catheter. Because of scar tissue it hurts and bleeds. There must be some other way to treat this. I seem to get the infections about every 3 months. Help please.

I believe you have to find a way to have the bladder removed since leaving the bladder will leave you prone to infection since the mucus and bladder secretions will be stagnant inside the bladder. No amount of antibiotics or and medicine will decrease your risk for infection since the bladder remains there inside your body.
