Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
After eating a spicy samosa two days ago, I ve been feeling a little gassy and today I ve started to finally poop however, it s watery in the normal brown shade with no blood, and there s no odor. The last thing I want to do is to see a doctor in a hospital or my GP. Any advise?
First of all, watery stool can make you dehydrated. You should take 1 glass of ORS after every defecate. If you have fever and blood in stool then you can take Antibiotics like Azithromycin. If you purgate much more then you will need to admit to Hospital. You should avoid spicy foods, vegetables, milk and milky foods and take potassium rich food. Be safe.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Asha Pramanik, Pathologist and Microbiologist
