How To Treat Weakness And Pain In Leg After Undergoing Total Knee Replacement?

I had Total Knee Replacement July 17th.2014. After I got out of hospital I did Physothepary with a Therapist. for two and one half months. I also did exercises every day for two or thee times. I still have pain in my leg especially at night. When I sit I have difficulty standing? I also have pain in my leg especially in the side muscle. When I stand up I have to wait to get my balance before I can attempt to walk. When I walk my leg feels weak like there is no strength in it. When I saw my Specialist Jan.22rd. He said my knee replacement was coming along fine. It has been a long, long time. What can I do about my problems? Others who had Knee replacements could jump over the moon after two months. Even using a cane, and doing my exercises daily, I seem to going back instead of ahead. Would it help any to wear an elastic wrap on it night time or when I try exercising it or when I try walking?
