How To Treat Weight Gain Around Hip Area?

Hello, I m having a real problem here. I have been working out steady for almost one month, I mostly do Pilates but I also perform aerobics for 20-1 hour each time twice to three times per week. I have increased in inches by about 2 around my hips buttocks and legs, but the scale is number is getting a bit smaller. Why are the fit of my clothes tighter when I don t use weights yet? why is this happening?

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Exercising initially increases the muscle mass which is probably causing tightening of clothes. However, with regular exercise, the muscle mass tends to firm up and ultimately the size will decrease and will be kore toned up.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
