Hello,

You have a history of having done gastric bypass surgery. Now you have lost weight. You are suggested to stay well hydrated, avoid constipation, avoid eating too much or too fast. Stay away from foods high in fat or sugar, chew your food adequately to avoid nausea or vomiting after meals.

Take high protein food, lean meat or poultry, eggs, cottage cheese, well cooked veggies, rice, cereals, fish. You can take broth, juice without sugar, skimmed milk, etc. Make meals small & take 3-4 times a day. Nuts and seeds, red meat should be well cooked otherwise it will cause gastritis / acid reflux. Do exercises under a Physiotherapist & take adequate sleep. Avoid addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
