my sister mixed the clorox with other detergents and they created the chemical reaction and she inhaled the bleach fumes. start vomiting dizziness and short breathing. I let her take prosec. With fresh air. seemed to be little better but still whistling breathing. should I see a doctor or let her rest a little bit?
Hello, It could be due to the inflammation in throat and lower respiratory tract by toxic fumes which she inhaled. She need further respiratory system examination for whistling sound to rule out any wheeze. If she have wheeze, Intravenous Steroids is necessary. Additionally she may need antibiotics, to prevent secondary infection. Please consult your Primary care physician to rule out any wheeze or injury in respiratory tract.
Hope this helps. Please write back for further queries. Wishing you good health.
