How To Treat White Spots On Bottom Of Tongue Caused Due To Canker Sore?

I get canker sore in my mouth and tongue from time to time. I had two of them in December. One healed and then I got another. I also kept biting them when I spoke or chewed food when I think made them worse and took a longer time to heal. Now I have some white spots on the bottom of my tongue where the first sore was and I still am biting it. What do you think is going on??

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain small white bumps under the tongue that were painful and as you already have a history of canker sores therefore the white bumps under the tongue seems to be due to canker sores and can occur due to a number of causes like deficiency of iron and Vitamin B12, stress, acid reflux, physical trauma, hormonal imbalances etc..
I would suggest you to avoid biting the sores and also do warm saline gargles..
Take a multivitamin tablet daily..
Do warm saline gargles..
Maintain a good oral hygiene.

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
