Body has its own mechanism to heal wound and reduce scar , but some amount of scar left even after that which happen to be a cause of concern . There are many methods for reducing scar on face . I would suggest you to apply silicon based serum containing quercertin as a ingredient which is very effective in reducing scar it can be used up to 8 weeks one or twice a day after wound healing , also protect scar from sun ray by using broad spectrum sunscreen containing SPF 30. As a home remedy you can use turmeric paste mix with honey on scar (very effective ) , exfoliate skin one a week ,do icing of scar and give gentle massage with olive oil to increase blood supply which will heal it further .
