How To Unblock Ears While Having Chronic Sinusitis?

I have severe and chronic sinusitis and have had blocked ears --L and R alternating randomly-- for several years. Some things I recently ate have blocked both ears and I am having a VERY difficult time hearing anything. Exercises, treatment ideas, quick helps???? Thanks a ton.

Hi,

Its a very common symptom in chronic sinusitis-blocked ears.

In order to get relief from this,you can use a nasal drop containing
xylometazoline/oxymetazoline,

anti-allergic like fexofenadine tablet in the required dosage.

You can also try the valsalva's manouvre
(close both your nostrils with your hands and try to blow forcefully with your mouth keeping it closed as well,the increased pressure ll lead to opening of the eustachian tubes present in ears which ll make you hear clearly and get relief from your blockade.)

Inhale menthol vapour with steam three or four times daily as a preventive measure.

Avoid exposure to dust,dirt and cold.
