How To Wean Off Clonazepam Without Any Withdrawal Symptoms?
ive been on clonazepam 2mg twice daily for ten years. I was weaned off over 3 weeks and went through the worst withdrawl of my life for 8 months straight. I went crazy and nearly lost my mind. it was so horrible that I took a nervous breakdown as believed I had to kill myself to end the torture although I wanted to live. during that process they tried giving me other meds for anxiety but nothing worked. im a 37 year old mail and im back on clonazepam 2mg twice daily,125mg of Zoloft for ocd and depression plus ptsd, 50mg of seraqual and 14 mg of imovane to sleep. I feel great but I find im on a lot of meds. my question is how to propaply wean off clonazepam with no withdrawl. how long would it take, I feel trapped on clonazepam with no hope. please help.

Withdrawal symptoms depend on how long a persons was using the medication and the dose used.
Since you have been using it for a prolonged period of time , withdrawal would occur.
It is best that you are weaned off by your doctor so that you can be monitored for any symptoms.
