Withdrawal from Clonazepam causes various withdrawal symptoms. However it is very important to know for what symptoms you were taking the drug at Ist place to give you a proper advice regarding stopping the drug.People taking Clonazepam for seizures may find their seizures return and worsen. Other possibilities include hallucinations, shaking and cramps. However if you have not experienced any symptoms after reducing the dosage, you must stick to this dose for at least two months more. Then reduce the drug to 0.25 mg.And continue this for two months more. Then switch it to alternative day for one month. Then give two days gap for another month.
However Patients taking Clonazepam should only come off the drug under the supervision of their doctor, or with help from an expert substance abuse treatment service.
This is very nice that you have decreased your dose of clonazepam.
I will be happy to know if it was helpful. You can approach us anytime with another query
