How To Withdraw From Sinemet While Suffering From Parkinson S Disease?
Good evening Doctor, I am a 56 year old male recently diagnosed with Parkinson s Disease. I currently take Sinemet 25/100 two tabs 3x daily. What is the maximum dose per day for any given patient.? I would like to cut down as I feel basically the same when taking fewer, minus the side effects. Does it matter if I discontinue cold turkey or ween down slowly over time? Of course I will ask my neurologist next visit too. Steve

you should continue your medication on regular basis. medicine is correct for any change you have to consult treating doctor. you are free to have second opinion
