How To Withdraw From Spasmo Proxyvon Slowly Without Any Side Effects?
I have been using spasmo proxyvon for the last 3 years, 20 to 24 pills a day & I have high blood pressure, I'm 40 years old. Recently I have developed a pain at both the kidneys. I want to give up the drug without getting admitted, coz I have the strong will to give up the drug. Can you kindly prescribe the medicines & procedures for quitting it.
Spasmo proxyvon consists of Dicyclomin, Acetaminophenon and Propoxyphen. Propoxyphen is a weak opioid drug and this is the reason for development of tolerance to drug and dependence. You have been taking about 20-24 pills per day and have develop renal pains also. To withdraw from any opioid drug first step is to replace offending drug with a drug with less side effects and less abuse potential. For this medicines like Buprenorphin, Tremadol can be used. Once you will become stabilised on these drugs then gradual tapering of doses can be done. Tapering of doses of these drugs is relatively easier. As the doses your are taking are high so I would advise you to visit a hospital and consult a Psychiatrist.
Thanks, hope this helps you.
