How To Withdraw From Spironolactone?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. I always prefer to taper the doses of Spironolactone medicine on the gradual basis to prevent sudden discomfort at different body parameters. You should take half the initial dose for 1 week and later, same in alternate days and then stop after 2 weeks. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Purva Patel
