How Vitiligo Be Treated?

Hi, I have vitiligo on both legs and I was using Melanocyl solution on the white patches as prescribed by my doctor. But it burned my skin instead of curing the patches. Now my doctor has advised me to use Flucort skin lotion on the affected areas. Can you please advise me how can the flucort skin lotion help me and how should I apply it?
