thanks for asking your question i completely understand your problem tuberculosis of the xtrapulmonary region like cervical lymphnodes is common in developing countries. multi drug resistant cases in eptb are less common , and for mdr tb total duration of treatment is 18-24 months depending on the reports in tuberculosis the basic thing is , benefits of treatment can be measured bu clinical improvement like improvement in fever, increase in appettite , increase in weight, feeling of well being. . secondly improvement can be noted by microbiological investigations like culture of the specimens, and thirdly by decrease in size of nodes. in this if microbiology is not available other para meters can be assesed , but you have to take full course. finally if u r feeling sense of well being , incresing weight,increasing appettite, and resolution of symptoms then definitely there is improvement. thanks/ regards feel free to ask more questions may god bless you with good health
