Appendicectomy(removal) is usually done as an emergency procedure in acute appendicitis..
Sudden onset right lower abdomen pain, vomiting, fever can be symptoms of acute appendicitis. This can be confirmed by clinical examination and investigations.
Consult a doctor, if you have such symptoms, you may need appendicectomy then.
