Husband had first chemo of Alimta and cisplatin this past Wed. He was good until Saturday night and all day Sunday just feeling like he was hit with a bus. Felt better this morning so thought he would run errands and came home wiped with a temp of 34C. He took a pain pill and went to bed. Sorry about the rambling but I was wondering if chemo effects can start days after first treatment. He had the B12 injection and is taking folate. We live out in the country and our cancer unit at our little hospital is not open on Mondays. He didn't want to go to the hospital and thought sleeping will help.
