Husband Having Sinus Infection, Child Having Cough, Rash On Chest, Myself Having Sore Throat, Rash On Chest, Pregnant. What Could This Be?

Hi, my husband has a cold or maybe allergies that moved into a sinus infection and he is now on antibiotic . (3 days) my 4 year-old daughter is coughing and last night had a bright red, splotchy rash on her chest. Today I have a sore throat and the same rash on my chest. I m 35.5 weeks pregnant. Wondering if this could be something more than just a cold.

Hi,
Rash on the chest with cough can signify any number of infections, mostly viral, like bronchitis, measles, chicken pox etc.Since you are pregnant, this needs to be addressed immediately. You need to be examined by your doctor immediately so that the type of rash can identify the infection. Stay away from your daughter for the time being.
