Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Husband is 69 yoa, taking Tamsulosin 0.4 mg 3 x a day and Furosemide 20mg 3x day for removing water. New Cardiologist just changed his meds after undergoing pre testing to have an operation for an abdominal aortic anuersym that is 5.6 cm. They won't operate because they now say he has congenital heart failure etc. New cardiologist changed meds to Lisinopril 10mg 1 x day, Carvedilol 6.5 mg 2 x day and Rosuvastatin 10 mg 1x day. He has only taken the new meds for 2 days, his feet and ankkes are so swollen (huge). When he was taking HCTZ his feet and ankles were not like this. Should I just take him to the hospital?
