Husband With A.Fib Brought On By Severe Bout Of The

Husband with A.Fib brought on by severe bout of the flu at Christmas per cardiologist. Husband with compromised lung on left due to severed diaphragmatic nerve. Lung capacity now 36%. On Amiodarone for approx 3 week’s. Did not cardio convert. Taking lopressor to slow rate. Taking Eliquis to prevent thrombosis. He is scheduled for electrical cardio conversion this Mon., 4/23. Husband now questioning if acupuncture should first be tried as cardio conversion not not always successful long term.....and life long heart meds most likely needed. What’s your opinion on stopping the Amiodarone, staying on eleqis & Metoprolopol.
